Supply Shock — A Supply Chain Risk Simulation
Supply Shock is a free interactive supply chain risk simulation from Kingstone Consultancy. You play the Chief Procurement Officer for five in-game years, making sourcing decisions across processors, metals, chemicals and plastics while real-world events — port strikes, trade wars, sanctions and pandemics — hit your supply chain without warning. The board reviews your margins every year, so every sourcing choice has consequences.
Two ways to play
- Without Kingstone — navigate five years alone with raw, unfiltered headlines and no expert guidance. Real events are mixed with market noise, there are no severity labels or advisory panel, and cheaper suppliers are always riskier.
- With Kingstone — KC Intelligence flags risks before they hit, with risk-tagged headlines, an advisory panel recommending safer alternatives, a live disruption map with watch-zone overlays, and a PR score that rewards ethical sourcing.
In-game guide
The in-game guide covers the full briefing, supplier risk tiers (risky, standard, secure, domestic and premium) across four supply categories, the maritime and overland chokepoints that can disrupt routes, and strategy notes for balancing cost against risk over five years.
Leaderboard
Completed runs are scored on final profit, years survived and an overall grade, and the top scores are published on the in-game public leaderboard.
